What Are Restorative Practices?
Restorative practices are a proactive, relationship-focused approach to building community and resolving conflict. Instead of focusing solely on punishment, we focus on strengthening connections between students, staff, and families.
We believe in doing things WITH people, not to them or for them. When harm occurs, our goal is to understand the root cause, take accountability, and repair the relationship, rather than simply removing a student from the learning environment.

Restorative Practices
Why Choose a
Restorative Approach?
Safer Schools
Creates an environment where everyone feels safe, heard, and respected.
Reduced Conflict
Builds empathy, reducing bullying and misbehavior before they start.
Stronger Relationships
Deepens connections among students, teachers, and parents.
Lasting Behavior Change
Teaches students to take responsibility and make better choices.
Improved Equity
Offers an alternative to punitive, exclusionary discipline that disproportionately impacts vulnerable students.
